Danna Greenwood
Author of Short Stories
Danna Greenwood is the pen name of an author who lives in Huntsville, Alabama with her fur children. Danna began her writing journey as an adult taking free writing seminars at her local library in Florida, where she grew up. She took her first structured writing class called Life Writing at the Bloomingdale Regional Library in Valrico, Florida, learning how to write creative non-fiction from her life’s experiences. During the first summer of the pandemic, Danna decided it was time to get serious about fiction writing and began taking virtual classes at The Muse Writers Center in Norfolk, Virginia. She started with the Introduction to Fiction class and then graduated to the The Fiction Workshop classes. Danna published her first short story called Quiet as a Mouse in Night Terrors Vol. 18: Short Horror Stories Anthology, by Scare Street Publishing.
